The Daihatsu Tanto Exe (Japanese: ダイハツ・タントエグゼ, Daihatsu Tanto Eguze) is a kei car manufactured by the Japanese automaker Daihatsu. The car made its debut at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show and was launched on December 24, 2009, by Daihatsu and April 20, 2010, by Subaru as the Subaru Lucra (Japanese: スバル・ルクラ, Subaru Rukura). It is based on the second generation Tanto and was designed to compete with models such as the Honda Life, Nissan Moco and Suzuki Wagon R. The Tanto Exe is more comfort-oriented than the standard Tanto which is more oriented for a flexible seat arrangement and maximum interior space. The left sliding door has also been eliminated for a more common side-hinged doors that reduces the weight by 60 kg (132 lb). The Tanto Exe Custom, a more sports-oriented version of the Tanto Exe with sports styling, was launched simultaneously. The Tanto Exe and Tanto Exe Custom are both available with a 658 cc petrol engine, mated to a continuously variable transmission on front-wheel drive models and 4-speed automatic transmission on four-wheel drive models.

The Tanto Exe and Tanto Exe Custom were discontinued on October 2, 2014, due to declining sales caused by the launch of the third generation Tanto a year earlier. The discontinuation left the Lucra and Lucra Custom as original Subaru models, even though they were still both being manufactured by Daihatsu. The cars, however, lasted until April 1, 2015, when they were discontinued due to changing tax consumption rules.
